About

Master of Education in Nepal is a two years semester based comprehensive program that aims at generating qualified educational professionals such as teachers, trainers, teacher educators, tutors, curriculum specialists, counsellors, educational planners, managers/administrators, education specialists and researchers. Currently, Master of Education (M.Ed) education in Nepal is offered by Tribhuvan University. Kathmandu University, Purbanchal University and Mid Western University. Being an interdisciplinary programme, M.Ed offers a wide range of specializations and majors. If you are interested in pursuing a career in the field of education and want to become an educator you may opt for the M.Ed programme. Master of Education (M.Ed) Programs of Tribhuvan University

Master of Education is a two years program offered by the Faculty of Education in constituent and affiliated campuses/colleges across the country. The program involves professional/pedagogical core courses, specialized courses and elective courses.

Eligibility Criteria of M.Ed Programme at TU

You must pass the Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Tribhuvan University (TU) or recognized by Tribhuvan University for the enrollment of M.Ed programme. However, you must pass the entrance examination conducted by Tribhuvan University, Faculty of Education (FoE).
